Jeremiah 12:5a – “If you have run with the footmen, and they have
wearied you, then how can you contend with horses?”
The place you are now may very well be a testing ground for where you will be in the future.
You and I must learn to master the present. Before we advance we have to be sure we are taking care of the challenges at hand. We have to make sure we are running effectively the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1). Not the race that is to come in the future, but run the race set before us now. We have to win that one before going on to the next one.
So before you start running with horses make sure you are winning the race with footmen.
