Numbers 6:22-27 “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 23 ‘Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24 ‘The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; 26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.’ ’ 27 ‘So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.’”
One of the responsibilities of leaders is to bless the people of God. These specific pronouncements were to be spoken over the people. I want to speak them over you today and prayerful open up your heart to receive them. In fact, why not rehearse them throughout the day and evening by personalizing them. Here they are:
1. The Lord bless you.
2. The Lord keep you (to hedge about with thorns; guard; protect).
3. The Lord make His face shine upon you (accept you; favor you).
4. The Lord be gracious to you (to stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor).
5. The Lord life up His countenance upon you.
6. The Lord give you peace (welfare; health; prosperity; peace; shalom).
YOU…ARE…BLESSED!
